  • The ability to plan, organize and direct manpower to meet food safety, quality requirements and ensure food safety-quality goals are met.
  • Coach, motivate, train and effectively supervise the quality parameters  in all areas of production.
  • Coordinate with others as appropriate to solve quality-related problems and issues.
  • Ensure adherence to proper quality, safety, and sanitation regulations and policies/procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Actively identify and initiate process improvements to positively impact product quality and customer satisfaction of the facility.
  • Recommends, and implements measures to improve equipment performance and overall quality of product.
  • Familiar with laboratory procedures and best practices.
  • Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) certified.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
